URI-UCONN Football at Rentschler Field, East Hartford, CT

The Connecticut Alumni Chapter and the Department of Athletics invite you to a pre-game tailgate. A bus trip will also leave from the Kingston Campus. Kickoff is at noon, and game tickets are available by calling the URI Athletics Box Office at 401-874-RAMS (mention the alumni group section). URI-Brown Football at Brown
Join the URI Alumni Association and Department of Athletics for the URI-Brown annual Governor’s Cup football game! Pre-game with alumni, fans, and friends in Lot A at Brown Stadium, 400 Elm Grove Ave., Providence, RI. Bring your own food and drink and take part in a free raffle. Registration for this event is not required, but you may purchase your game tickets by calling the URI Athletics Box Office at 401-874-RAMS. 2009 Alumni of the Game

Our "Alum of the Game" tradition, held at men's basketball home games, honors alumni for their achievements and commitment to the University and their communities. "The 'Alum of the Game' has become a major vehicle for showcasing the broad-based nature of URI alumni achievements," says Bob Beagle, vice president for University Advancement. "Alums who might not be household names but who are distinctive are being honored. We think it especially important for URI students who attend home games to be able to see the career successes of alumni, as well as the kinds of things our alums do for others."
