The Ram Award recognizes an individual, whether an alumnus or not, who has unselfishly dedicated his or her efforts toward the betterment of the Alumni Association and/or the University as a whole, for a minimum of 25 years. The recipient of the Ram Award should embody the URIAA's mission and that of the University of Rhode Island.

 

The purpose of the University of Rhode Island Alumni Association, an interdependent organization of the University, is to foster lifelong, mutually beneficial relationships among its current and future alumni and the University through programs and services that inform, involve, and invest them as committed partners of the University, its mission and traditions.  The recipient of the Ram Award should embody this mission and that of the University of Rhode Island.

 

To Submit a Nomination

The Alumni Association is currently seeking nominations for the Ram Award. Deadline for nominations is May 30, 2008. Nominations received after this date will be held for consideration the following year.
