Here are some of the regularly scheduled events for alumni and friends sponsored by the URI Alumni Association and the Division of University Advancement. Join in, reconnect with old friends, and meet new ones!
Alumni Programs
The Alumni Association sponsors a variety of programs to bring alumni together for social, cultural, athletic, and educational events.
Athletics
The Alumni Association partners with URI Athletics to sponsor special pre- and post-game receptions at Rhody athletic events in Kingston and around the country. Go Rhody!
Big Thinkers
URI alumni, parents, and friends are cordially invited to join President David M. Dooley in Big Thinkers Series events around the country and learn how URI's big thinkers are shaping the future around the globe.
Big Chill Weekend
The URI Alumni Association Big Chill Weekend is all about friends, family, food, and fun—with proceeds going toward scholarships. You can customize your weekend and choose the events and activities you like!

Fiftieth Reunion
A special gathering of the class celebrating its 50th year reunion, held each spring during Commencement Weekend.
Golden Grad Weekend
Alumni who graduated more than 50 years ago are invited to this celebration weekend, held each year in the beginning of June.
Golf Tournament
Hit the links and celebrate the start of summer with this popular annual event--and raise funds for student scholarships!
Homecoming Weekend
This popular fall tradition has been updated. In addition to the game, Homecoming Weekend includes a 5K-road race and a variety of reunions and other special activities.
