Friday, July 18

Optional day trip to Block Island SOLD OUT

We will depart from the Alumni Center at 9 a.m. for the Block Island Ferry. The price of the trip includes transportation to and from the Block Island Ferry, round-trip ferry ticket, and lunch on the Island. We will depart the Island at 4:30 p.m. to get back and start Family Camp weekend.

Saturday, July 19

Join us for an exciting day at the 30th annual South County Hot Air Balloon Festival, which features the world-famous Flying Wallendas, carnival and pony rides, music, crafts, and demonstrations. A lunch buffet will be provided, and in the evening we will head to Yawgoo Bakes for a lobster bake!

Sunday, July 20

On Sunday morning, you will have the choice of one of the following classroom experiences: Recycling Magic in the Garden: Enjoy a hands-on adventure in the world of recycling; Discovering Dinosaurs: Join Professor Fastovsky on a journey back in time to discover the world of dinosaurs; or Dawn of the Space Age: You will be captivated by the planetarium and the presentation. 

After the classroom experience, we will enjoy lunch at the new Hope Dining Hall, followed by ice skating at the Boss Ice Arena. We will wrap up the weekend with a delicious barbecue at Eddy Hall.
