Alumni FAQs


How do I request a copy of my transcript or diploma?
To order a copy of your transcript, follow the procedures set up by the URI Office of Enrollment Services. If you have lost your diploma and wish to order a replacement diploma, call the Office of Enrollment Services at 401-874-9500 or email them at esmail@etal.uri.edu.


How do I change my address?
You can change your postal and email address online on our Web site. To protect your privacy, log on is required.


How do I submit a Class Note?
You can submit a class note online through the Eservices feature on our Web site. Log on is required to protect your privacy. You can also search class notes by class year, college name, and last name. Class notes are posted online and printed in QUAD ANGLES, our quarterly alumni magazine.


How do I find other URI alumni in my area or locate a former classmate?
By registering with the URI Online Community, you have access to the Online Alumni Directory. This free, password-protected program allows you to search for fellow alumni using a variety of criteria, including class year and geographic area. To protect your privacy, log on is required.


How do I find out about upcoming events?
Upcoming alumni events and activities are found on the Alumni Calendar. All University events, including concerts, theatre productions, lectures, exhibits, and other special events open to the community are listed in the University Calendar.


How do I get information about and tickets to upcoming URI athletic events and to other events at the Ryan Center events or Boss Arena?
The University's Athletics Web site offers up-to-date information about all URI athletic events and how to purchase tickets. The Ryan Center and Boss Arena Web sites include a calendar of events and ticket information for each venue.


How do I find out about parking on campus?
A parking map of the the Kingston campus is available online. Also available are maps of and directions to the Providence campus, the Narragansett Bay campus, and the W. Alton Jones campus.


How do I find out if the Alumni Association can fund my project?
The proposed project should benefit and enhance the URI community while promoting the Alumni Association and its constituents. Project guidelines and a Funding Request form are available on our Web site.


How do I find accommodations in the area?
The South County Tourism Council and Newport Convention and Visitors' Bureau Web sites offer listings of accommodations and other visitor information.


How do I make a gift to URI?
There are many options for giving to the University of Rhode Island. You may make an online gift through a secure Give Online feature on our Web site, or contribute in a variety of other ways. Many employers have matching gift programs that double or even triple an employee's gift to an instituion of higher education.

 

Does the Office of Alumni Relations offer assitance to alumni/campus groups? How can I request help from Alumni Relations?

The Office of Alumni Relations offers a range of services to alumni/campus groups. A Request for Services form, which may be downloaded from our Web site, outlines a variety of ways Alumni Relations can assist your group and offers guidelines for making your request.
