Join URI President David M. Dooley, alumni, and friends for a private tour of Luminous: The Art of Asia and a presentation by Mark Spatz ’93, M.S. ’97, president and founder of Sterlitech Company, followed by a Q&A session. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
Mark Spatz, president of Sterlitech Corporation, founded the company in 2001 and rapidly built it into a leading manufacturer of silver membrane products. He previously worked as a business analyst for Aptimus (formerly FreeShop.com); account manager and director of research for McKnight & Company, Inc.; market analyst for J.L. Anderson Associates, Inc.; and economist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He holds a B.S. in natural resource economics and an M.S. in environmental economics from the University of Rhode Island.
