Hellenic Studies Center Paideia to be built at URI The University will have a building of classical Greek architecture with an open air amphitheater on the Kingston Campus, thanks to the efforts of the Rhode Island chapter of Paideia, a non-profit Greek-American organization dedicated to advancing learning about classical and modern Hellenic culture and language. Alumni are hosting special area events for incoming URI freshmen in New Jersey on July 19, Massachusetts on July 25, and New York City on August 15. Incoming students and their families are invited to meet with alumni in these area gatherings.
