Publication of the University Pacer began in 1984, and for more than 20 years, it served as the main communications vehicle for the University of Rhode Island community. Although it ceased publication in November 2005, the Pacer will long provide an invaluable archive of the events in the life of URI. Our thanks go to all those who made the Pacer such a vital part of the University of Rhode Island for more than two decades.
