A place where everyone will know your nameHeber W. Youngken, former dean and professor emeritus of URI's College of Pharmacy, and a founder and the first president of the University Club, holds a plaque presented to him by Communication Studies Professor Agnes G. Doody, former vice president of the University Club's board and a founder of the club. A ceremony was held at the club this past spring to honor Youngken for his work on behalf of the club, and to announce that a new lounge in the renovated club will be called "Heber's." The ceremony was part of the unveiling of renovation plans for the club. |
