Nearly 100 alumni, friends, faculty and staff enjoyed two presentations in September on wealth protection by nationally known author and financial planner Christopher Jarvis ‘92. Sponsored by the URI Division of University Advancement and held in the newly-opened Ballentine Hall, Jarvis shared his knowledge about asset protection, tax reduction and estate planning. The author of Wealth Protection: Build and Preserve Your Financial Fortress and Doctor’s Wealth Protection Guide, he has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and numerous other financial publications and appeared on the Bloomberg Network and more than 100 radio programs nationwide.
