Engineering Students

A team of five URI engineering students placed fourth in the International Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Competition in August, missing out on first place by just inches. The event challenges students to build a miniature robotic submarine that can self-navigate and independently perform realistic missions. URI won the contest in 2000. This year’s team was (l-r) John Corrigan, Michel Beliard, Sarah Warren, Annan Moseika and Chuen-Song Chen.
