The cousteau society research vessel alcyon and its crew of 12 visited the bay campus in july to establish a partnership with the college of engineering. at an open house on the vessel, francine cousteau (center), wife of famed explorer jacques-yves cousteau and the society’s president, toured the alcyon with assistant provost clifford katz (left) and harold knickle, associate dean of engineering.
