URI’s guard donkey

URI’s guard donkey, Bonnie, which made news around the world when it came to the University earlier this year, gave birth to a son, Clyde, in July. Housed at Peckham Farm, Bonnie guards a flock of sheep used in hands-on teaching of animal science students. Bonnie was acquired to protect the sheep from dogs, which killed one sheep and seriously injured six others before she arrived.
