Peace Conference, August 4, 2002
The Sixth Annual Muslim Cultural Heritage Program held a day long peace conference designed to educate the public about the causes of the Palestinian and Israeli conflict, the current situation, and the potential for future peace. Seen here with URI President Robert L. Carothers and Professor Mohammed Sharif (with his daughter) are some of the academics and activists from around the United States and several other countries who participated in the four panel discussions.
