William Klenk. Recent paintings and collages incorporating the ephemera of contemporary culture. Closing reception September 25 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Contemporary Currents: Suspended Narratives: Explores a contemporary current across the works of contemporary artists Deborah Brown, Cynthia Consentino, Michael Oatman, Barbara Rachko, and John Wilde. Gallery reception October 12 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Las Canciónes Negras Sin Color (Black Songs Without Color) by Kerry Stuart Coppin. Shown in conjunction with the 2003 Honors Colloquium “The Futures of Globalization” and the Multicultural Center’s Diversity Week. Lecture by the artist on October 2 from noon to 1 p.m. Sponsored by Fidelity Investments.

Carl Chiarenza: Showcases the artist’s work from the 1950s to the 1970s. Lecture by Chiarenza on November 13 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Daily 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Features works by Art Department faculty and invited guests.

August 13-September 27

Air Show: Photographs by David Freese. The exhibition coincides with the centennial of the Wright Brothers’ flight. Gallery talk by the artist on September 18 at 4 p.m.
