September 6-30 Multiples & Projects by Barbara Westermann A complementary exhibition to the Main Gallery’s Speaking Volumes featuring projects known as Borderland, Connectors, Observatory, and Radio Nurse (after Noguchi). Westermann, a Rhode Island artist who was born in Germany, creates work in the tradition of leading conceptual artists like Christo, Daniel Spoerri, Josef Beuys, and Gordon Matta-Clark.
