Reproduction

The University wordmark, the Green Hall logo, and the University seal are available for use in print from the University Publications Office at 401-874-2075 or URI Printing Services at 401-874-4542. The Ram logo and other Athletics logos are available from the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations at 401-874-2401. These elements should not be scanned or reproduced from previously printed versions.

Low-resolution versions of the University logo and University seal for use exclusively on the Web are available in the URImage Bank, located on the Publications Office Web site at http://advance.uri.edu/imagebank/default.htm.

For use in print, you can download a high-resolution version of the logo or call the URI Publications Office at 401-874-2075 to request camera-ready artwork for use in print.

Colors

Over the years, the University of Rhode Island has consistently used a dark blue and a light blue (commonly referred to as “Keaney blue”) to represent the school colors, but the exact blues have varied over time.

The University’s color scheme will now be officially identified with one dark blue (PMS 280) and one light blue (PMS 292). The light blue is used primarily by Athletics.

The University wordmark, Green Hall logo, University seal, and Ram logo should not be printed in any colors other than the official URI “blues” or black, but they may be reversed to white from a dark color. Foil stamping or embossing may also be used in special circumstances.

All elements of the University wordmark, Green Hall logo, and Ram logo should appear in the same color. All negative space within the images should be transparent, showing as the paper color or background color. No borders or boxes isolating the logos from the background field should be used.
